1. What we collect

• Google account data (if you sign in): your email, name and avatar URL — used solely to identify your account. We request only the openid email profile scopes.
• Song data: the name and style you choose, your generated lyrics and audio files, and your generation history.
• Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details.
• Usage analytics (see §2).

2. Analytics and cookies

We use three analytics services to understand aggregate usage:

• Google Analytics 4 — page views and funnel events. Your IP is anonymized. You can opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Microsoft Clarity — anonymized session recordings and heatmaps to fix usability problems. No input fields are recorded. Opt out at clarity.microsoft.com.
• Plausible Analytics — cookie-free, privacy-first aggregate stats. No opt-out needed: it stores no personal data.

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends navigator.globalPrivacyControl, analytics cookies are kept off automatically.

3. Google API Services User Data

hbswn's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell your data, and we do not transfer it to advertising networks for targeted advertising.

4. Children's privacy

This site is a general-audience tool, not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Songs for children are made by parents or guardians, and we never ask for a child's photo, voice recording, or any identifier beyond a first name.

5. Data retention and deletion

Free-tier audio files are automatically deleted 7 days after generation. You may request account deletion at any time — deleting your account removes your songs, orders, and account record.

6. Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent for analytics cookies, by contacting contact@happybirthdaysongwith.name. We respond within 30 days.

7. Changes

If we change this policy materially, we'll notify you on this page before the change takes effect.
